President Ilham Aliyev Expresses Condolences to Turkish President Erdogan Over Kartalkaya Hotel Fire


Baku: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev expressed his condolences to the President of the Republic of Trkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, regarding the fire that broke out at a hotel in Kartalkaya ski resort in Bolu province, APA reports.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the incident, which resulted in the loss of many lives, has left both nations in mourning. President Aliyev conveyed his heartfelt sorrow and solidarity with the Turkish people in a message to President Erdogan.



The message from President Aliyev read: “Dear Mr. President, dear Brother, We are deeply shocked by the news of the fire at a hotel in the Kartalkaya resort in Bolu province, which resulted in the loss of many lives. In light of this tragedy, I share your sorrow and extend my deep condolences to you, the families and loved ones of the victims, and the brotherly people of Trkiye, on behalf of myself and the people of Azerbaijan. I also wish a swift recovery to the injured. May Allah rest their souls in peace!”
