President Ilham Aliyev Joins Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week Opening Ceremony

Abu Dhabi: On January 14, the official opening ceremony of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week and the Zayed Sustainability Prize awards ceremony were held in the capital of the United Arab Emirates. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the event.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of the United Arab Emirates, addressed the attendees, providing insights into the UAE's sustainability policies and projects. He emphasized the significance of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week as a global platform for sustainability dialogue.

The Zayed Sustainability Prize awards ceremony followed the opening speeches, and a commemorative photo was taken with the winners, marking the conclusion of the event.

Founded in 2008, Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week has evolved into a significant global platform focusing on sustainable development. The event encourages global collaboration and leadership in economic development, technology, and innovation. This year, it is attended by 13 heads of state and government, along with over 140 ministers and other officials, fostering discussions among politicians, industry leaders, businesspeople, and youth.
