Tirana: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania Edi Rama convened for a meeting over a working luncheon in Tirana. President Aliyev congratulated Prime Minister Rama on the successful organization of the 6th Summit of the European Political Community.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, during their conversation, the leaders praised the development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Albania, particularly in the energy sector. They highlighted their productive cooperation within international organizations and underscored the significance of the project to supply natural gas from Azerbaijan to the Albanian city of Kor§a.

President Aliyev and Prime Minister Rama further exchanged views on the prospects for enhancing cooperation between their countries, aiming to strengthen their collaborative efforts in various sectors.
