President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who arrived in Erevan on an official visit, held a meeting with Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan in his residence at the Radisson Blu Hotel.
The Prime Minister of Armenia congratulated the Turkmen leader on the success achieved during the top-level talks in Erevan that opened a new page in the history of the relations of the two states aimed at enhancing cooperation.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized the efficient character of the top-level meeting in Erevan, the outcomes of which will contribute to enhancing cooperation between the two states.
President of Turkmenistan and the Prime Minister of Armenia exchanged the views on the current status and prospects of the intergovernmental cooperation given the priorities of the social and economic development of the two states. The meeting participants focused on the ways to diversify the trade and economic partnership.

In this regard, the parties underlined the significant role of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Armenian Commission that stands as an efficient mechanism for developing new forms of cooperation.
