President of Turkmenistan has replaced three Deputy Prime Ministers

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov dismissed three Deputy chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers and appointed three new ones. These decisions were announced by the Head of state at the enlarged meeting of the government on Wednesday, which summed up the socio-economic development of the country for the first quarter of 2018.

According to Decrees of the President Vice-premiers Maksat Babayev, Bayram Annameredov and Orazmyrat Gurbannazarov are released from positions in connection with transition to other work.

In particular, Maksat Babayev, who oversaw the oil and gas sector, and Bayram Annameredov, who oversaw the transport sector and communications, were relieved of the posts of Deputy Prime Ministers in connection with the transition to work related to the construction of the TAPI gas pipeline.

Orazmyrat Gurbannazarov, who supervised the trade complex and entrepreneurship, was dismissed from the post of Deputy Prime Minister in connection with his election as Chairman of the chamber of Commerce and industry of Turkmenistan.

According to the Decrees of the Head of state, Chary Gylydzhov, who held the post of Chairman of the Supreme control chamber, was appointed Deputy Prime Minister in charge of the trade sector.

Myratgeldi Meredov, who served as a head of the Department of the Cabinet of Ministers, was appointed Deputy Prime Minister in charge of the oil and gas industry.

Mammethan Chakiev, who held the position of Director of Public service on fight against economic crimes, appointed Deputy Prime Minister in charge of industry, transport complex and communications.
