President of Turkmenistan holds working meeting on digital video

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting on digital video communications with the participation of some vice-presidents of the Cabinet of Ministers, provincial khyakims and the city of Ashgabat. The agenda includes priority tasks for the socio-economic development of the regions and the capital, the course of seasonal work in the agro-industrial sector, and a number of other topical issues of state life.

Opening the meeting, the head of state summoned by live video call of the khyakim of the Akhal velayat Sh. Amangeldiev, who reported on the implementation of current agricultural work, on measures taken for the quality maintenance of wheat crops, preparation for planting cotton, as well as potatoes and fruit and vegetable crops. In addition, it was reported on the implementation of new building projects in the administrative center of the region, the construction of a high-speed autobahn, the foundation of which was laid last week.

Having heard the report, the President emphasized the importance of comprehensive preparation of fields and agricultural equipment for the spring planting season, instructing to speed up the implementation of relevant agrotechnical measures. At the same time, the head of state gave specific instructions on increasing the pace of work on the care of winter grain crops, including their feeding with mineral fertilizers, vegetative watering, disease prevention and protection from agricultural pests.

Inquiring how things are going with the provision of workers in the agro-industrial complex with water, fertilizers and seeds, the implementation of a planting program in the region, the President ordered to take appropriate measures to clean up the areas adjacent to the sown areas, irrigation and drainage collectors.

Speaking about the need to strengthen control over the implementation of important infrastructure projects, the construction of various facilities in the velayat, in particular those related to the agro-industrial sector, the Turkmen leader stressed that the main criteria here are high quality of work, their completion within a set time frame and compliance of new buildings with international standards. standards.

Then, the head of state heard a report by the Khyakim of the Balkan velayat, Ya. Gylydzhov, who reported on the state of affairs in the region, informing on the progress of the current agricultural campaigns and preparations for the upcoming planting season.

Noting the importance of reforms carried out in the agro-industrial complex, the head of state pointed out the need for a responsible and comprehensive approach to the implementation of field work in accordance with established agrotechnical norms. High-quality care for wheat crops, holding spring crops of vegetables, melons and other crops at optimal times is a key to obtaining abundant crops, said the head of state, addressing a number of specific instructions to the khyakim and demanding that appropriate measures be taken in this direction.

It was also noted that now we should start preparing for the summer holiday season in the Avaza National Tourist Zone, inspect the condition of the relevant facilities, including rides and playgrounds, take care of their improvement, and, if necessary, carry out repairs. Along with this, the President ordered to strengthen control over the construction of new buildings in the velayat, especially those of priority importance.

Then, Ms. Bayramgulyev, the khyakim of the Dashoguz velayat, reported on the state of affairs in the region, the measures being taken to accelerate the pace of work on the objects being erected. In particular, it was reported about the preparation of agricultural machinery and land for planting cotton, about caring for winter wheat crops.

Stressing that all work on the agricultural lands of the velayat should be carried out in accordance with the relevant standards, the head of state gave the khyakim a number of specific instructions, including on ensuring full readiness for spring field campaigns, including sowing potatoes, fruit and vegetable crops, as well as on strengthening the direction of measures.

Focusing on issues related to gardening, improvement of territories adjacent to agricultural land, cleaning irrigation and drainage systems, providing day-tenants with everything necessary for growing rich crops of agricultural crops, the President of Turkmenistan noted the importance of taking timely and efficient steps to this end.

Continuing the working meeting, the President called on the direct video link of the Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Abdyev. The Vice Prime Minister voiced the proposal on the appointment of A. Durdyevoy to the post of deputy khyakim of the Dashoguz velayat on education, culture, health care and sports.

Having endorsed the proposal submitted by the khyakim and vice-premier, the head of state signed the relevant Resolution. Through the digital electronic document management system, the Resolution was sent to the head of the region, who immediately got acquainted with it.

The next report was a report by the Khyakim of the Lebap velayat T. Atahallyev, who reported on the work being done in the region, including on the timely preparation for sowing cotton and other crops, and caring for fields sown with wheat.

Summing up the report, the President of Turkmenistan stressed that it is necessary to systematically improve the efficiency of agricultural work, take measures for the rational use of land and water resources, introduce advanced scientific methods in this area, giving a number of instructions related to the necessary agrotechnical measures on sown areas.

The President focused on the importance, along with the comprehensive care of wheat crops, to expand the land area under vegetables, melons and potatoes in the velayat, to plant more fruit trees. Together with ensuring the abundance of agricultural products in the country, this will also help create the most favorable ecological environment.

Inquiring about the progress of construction in the region of objects, in particular, especially significant, the head of state noted the need to increase the pace of this work, sending specific instructions to the khyakim.

Further, the head of state called on digital video communication of the khyakim of the Mary velayat D.Annaberdiyev, who reported on the agricultural and other works being carried out in the region. In particular, information was given on seasonal agrotechnical measures performed, and in this context, on the steps taken to comprehensively care for wheat and protect them from diseases and pests, on the preparation of land areas, equipment and proper tools for spring sowing, to provide farmers with irrigation water , seeds and fertilizers.

Noting again the importance of implementing measures to improve the efficiency and profitability of agricultural production on a scientific basis, taking into account the climatic conditions of each region, active implementation of advanced business practices in the agricultural sector, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed to increase the pace of work in this direction, as well as to pay constant attention issues of maintaining irrigation and other engineering systems in proper condition. Speaking about this, the head of state demanded to take appropriate measures in order to obtain generous yields of wheat, cotton, vegetables, melons and fruits in the velayat this year.

Inquiring about the progress of work carried out in the velayat, and pointing out the need to keep them under constant control, the President also ordered to ensure the high quality of construction of important objects erected in the region, which should be put into operation on schedule.

Then the President called on the digital video link of the town of Ashgabat khyakim S. Sh. Durdylyev, who reported on the current state of affairs in the capital, as well as on the implementation of instructions. As noted, large-scale work has been launched, designed to give a systematic character to the complex development of the infrastructure of the main city of the country, to the steps being taken to maintain cleanliness and landscaping.

Khyakim also reported on the state of affairs at the facilities being built in Ashgabat, on the measures being implemented aimed at ensuring the ecological well-being of the capital.

Stressing that the transformations carried out in the main city of the country should be focused on further improving the social and living conditions of citizens, the President of Turkmenistan instructed to keep the work in this direction under review. The head of state also drew attention to the importance of building facilities as planned.

Along with this, it was emphasized that nowadays it is necessary to begin a thorough preparation for the summer season for children's recreation, addressing the khyakim a number of specific instructions, including checking the condition of the places designated for this, and, if necessary, take measures to improve them. The Vice Prime Minister also submitted for consideration by the President a draft decree on the creation of an interdepartmental commission on the selection of land plots for creating planned settlements in the country.

Noting that the construction and energy complexes play a significant role in strengthening the national economy, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the activities carried out in these areas should meet modern requirements and international standards. The key criteria for construction work are to ensure their high quality and completion on time, an organic combination of the traditions of national architecture and world best practices.

Noting that in the proper work on the preparation of architectural and construction projects, the choice of land plots for the construction of new settlements, the above-mentioned Interdepartmental Commission has a significant role to play, the head of state signed the relevant Decree, having instructed to properly organize the activities of this structure. Then the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers P.Agamyradov reported on the state of affairs in supervised areas, the results of the IV meeting of the National Center of Trade Unions and the IX meeting of the Central Council of the Union of Women. The Vice Prime Minister informed that during these meetings, the main activities of public associations were discussed, as well as organizational issues were discussed.

Approving the decisions of these structures on the release in connection with the retirement of G. Bayramova from the posts of the Chairman of the Central Council of the Women's Union and the Chairman of the National Center of Trade Unions and on the election of G. Ataeva to these positions, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov signed the relevant documents, which were sent by the Vice premiere through electronic document management system.

In continuation of the report, reporting on the work on further improvement and bringing to a modern level the activities of research and educational institutions at ministries, sectoral departments, the Academy of Sciences and higher educational institutions of the country, the Deputy Prime Minister presented a draft document for consideration by the head of state.

Focusing on the importance of consistent measures in this direction, the President addressed instructions to the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and signed a Decree on improving the procedure for appointing heads of research and educational institutions subordinated to ministries, sectoral departments, the Academy of Sciences and higher education institutions.

The document signed by the head of state through the digital electronic document management system was also immediately sent to the deputy prime minister.

The next direct video call was the adviser to the President of Turkmenistan on oil and gas issues, Y. Kakayev, who reported on the ongoing work on the implementation of major investment projects in the fuel and energy complex. There was information about the planned plans for the creation of new modern plants for the processing of natural gas, international cooperation in this field.

Focusing on key aspects of the energy strategy of Turkmenistan, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed to intensify work on the modernization and diversification of the oil and gas industry, the development of new hydrocarbon fields, the development of the gas chemical industry, and the attraction of foreign investments on mutually beneficial terms.

In this context, the importance of widespread introduction of advanced resource-saving technologies, innovative scientific and technical developments, establishing productive cooperation with leading world oil and gas companies and financial institutions, scientific and educational centers was noted in all sectors of the fuel and energy complex.

The head of state pointed to the need to improve the activities of research institutes of the oil and gas complex, which should be aimed at a specific result, the practical use of scientific research in the production sector. Special attention should be paid to the use of modern IT technologies, the Turkmen leader said.

The President also ordered to provide an optimal choice of the location of new gas processing facilities that will be created in velayats. Turkmenistan possesses colossal hydrocarbon resources, according to their reserves it is among the world's energy nations, the head of state stressed. In this regard, an important aspect is the wide popularization of the achievements of the domestic fuel and energy complex, including in the field of scientific study of the subsoil, the effective development of natural resources.

As the President noted, ensuring environmental safety was and remains a mandatory requirement for all types of oil and gas works. The relevance of this topic is due to the fact that in many cases oil and gas are produced in areas of primeval nature.

For example, huge reserves of hydrocarbons are explored and are being developed in the Karakum Desert, where new deposits are still being discovered. At the same time, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted, Turkmen specialists are working to include the unique protected areas of the Kara Kum and other wonderful natural parts of the country on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

In accordance with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, today Turkmenistan is systematically moving to a green economy, which, relying on innovative, resource-saving and environmentally friendly production technologies, increases people's well-being and reduces environmental risks.

This approach is practiced in the development and practical implementation of plans for the development of the hydrocarbon rich Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea, the ecological purity and biodiversity of which must be preserved for future generations.

Emphasizing that systematic work should also be carried out in the field of training highly qualified personnel, their retraining taking into account world trends in the development of science and production in the oil and gas sector, the head of state gave Ya.Kakaev a number of specific instructions on this matter.
