President of Turkmenistan receives credentials from the Ambassador of Belarus

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received credentials from the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Turkmenistan, Vyacheslav Beskostoy.

The head of state and the plenipotentiary representative of Belarus exchanged views on key aspects of interstate partnership, emphasizing the significant potential for building and diversifying cooperation. The subject of discussion was the intensification of bilateral economic cooperation, the joint implementation of infrastructure projects and the increase in mutual trade.

During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on interaction in the CIS format and on the agenda of the upcoming Summit of CIS Heads of State and the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Commonwealth countries in Ashgabat in the coming days.
