President of Turkmenistan urged deputies to work on attracting investment and “rational use of budget resources”

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with deputies of the Mejlis (parliament), who set a number of tasks to modernize legislation in the economic sphere “to attract both foreign and own investments, to stimulate the growth of innovative industries, development of entrepreneurship and public-private partnership” .

I consider it expedient to adopt laws on the payment system, as well as on contributions and mortgages, said the head of state.

In addition, it was stated about the need to improve legislation to “ensure the rational use of public resources, the regulation of fiscal and monetary relations”.

Changes, according to President Berdymukhamedov, are also required in the legislation on financing, managing and structuring the scientific and educational sphere.

As the “Chronicle of Turkmenistan” reported earlier, it is expected that as a result of reforms in the scientific and educational sphere almost a third of the staff of the Academy of Sciences of the country will be reduced .
