Baku: The presidential scholarship for the family of a martyr in the Republic of Azerbaijan has been increased by 100 manat, bringing the total amount to 700 manat.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this change is part of a Decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev. The Decree is titled 'Increasing the amounts of social benefits, presidential scholarships of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and pensions for honorary titles, and making amendments to certain decrees and orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan related to this.' The scholarship amount has been raised from 600 manat to 700 manat.

The increase in the scholarship is aimed at providing better support to the families of martyrs, acknowledging their sacrifices. The adjustment reflects the government's ongoing efforts to enhance social welfare for those who have contributed to the nation.
