Project of digitization of urban trade network is under implementation

Specialists of the Centre of Computer technologies of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan and Agzybirlik Tilsimaty JV carry out projects in the sphere of digitization of the state urban network in Ashgabat.

300 sets of POS-equipment for automation of trade including touchpad computers, cheque printers, barcode scanners and printers, money boxes have been produced under Agzybirlik Tilsimaty logotype. All capital food stores under the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations would be provided with this equipment.

Transfer to digital system would be carried out until the end of the year. At the same time, all shopping outlets of the capital will be united by single system allowing monitoring movement of goods, delivery to warehouses, dispatch to shops, volume of sale and remains in online mode.

This centralized system will allow classifying information about provision of shopping network with goods, supplementing on time their stocks in shops, arranging uninterrupted supply and making electronic reporting on sale and payments to suppliers. Digital platform will make conditions for effective management and solution of marketing objectives.

Director of the Centre of Computer Technologies Hanmammet Mollakov explained that website will be made for convenience of consumers. It will contain information about each shop, its address, contact details, variety of goods and necessary information. Visitors of trade portal will be able to make online order with delivery, to receive additional information in answer-question format. This system will allows studying demand in local market. At the next stage, system of electronic shopping would be introduced in velayat centres.
