The special team of prosecutors investigating the Choi Soon-sil scandal says it will make another request to question President Park Geun-hye.
A prosecution official said on Monday that their position remains unchanged that the president must undergo in-person questioning and they will soon ask her again to accept the probe.
However, the official noted that it is difficult to forcibly summon and question the president because she is immune from prosecution while in office.
The official said the prosecution has secured all necessary evidence from raids on the presidential office, adding all the charges specified in the indictment against Choi are the result of objective judgment based on evidence.
