At meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on November 5, Deputy Prime Minister Shakhym Abdrakhmanov , who is in charge of the oil and gas industry, presented a positive report on the work of the industry for 10 months, the state information agency TDH reported .
During the Deputy Prime Minister's report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov summoned the chairmen of the Turkmengaz State Concerns Batyr Amanov , Turkmenneft Guychgeldy Baygeldiev , Turkmengeologiya Merdan Rozyev and the Prosecutor General Batyr Atdaev .
The head of state ordered the officials to increase the economic indicators of all industrial structures of the fuel and energy complex, to increase the volume of oil and gas production, and also to expand the range of products made from hydrocarbons.
Then Berdymukhamedov reprimanded Deputy Prime Minister Abdrakhmanov and two severe reprimands with a final warning to the head of Turkmengaz Amanov and Prosecutor General Atdaev.
Abdrakhmanov and Amanov were punished for improper performance of official duties, weakening of control over the activities of subordinate industries and institutions, Atdaev - for weakening prosecutorial supervision over the activities of structures of the oil and gas complex.
