Putin awarded Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with the Order of Merit for the Fatherland

On August 26, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on awarding the Order for Services to the Fatherland, IV degree, to the chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty (upper house of parliament) and ex-president of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov .
