Representatives of Turkmenistan and Bahrain discussed fuel and energy complex, tourism and the Altyn Asyr lake

Turkmen-Bahraini business forum began in Ashgabat, where negotiations were held between the ministries and departments of the two countries in the fields of energy, oil and gas, the chemical industry, agriculture and tourism.

At the meeting of the Minister of Energy and Water of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Abdel Hussein Ben Ali Mirza, with the Deputy Prime Minister for Construction, Energy and Public Utilities and the Minister of Energy of Turkmenistan, issues of cooperation in the energy sector were discussed.

According to the state news agency TDH , the Minister of Electricity and Water Resources of the Kingdom of Bahrain was presented the results of work on the creation of the Altyn Asyr Lake in Karakum .

In addition, the meeting of the Minister of Petroleum of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Executive Director of the National Gas Company Sheikh Mohamed Bin Khalif Bin Ahmed Al Khalif with the leadership of the country's fuel and energy complex discussed areas of cooperation in the energy sector, petrochemical and gas chemical industries.

The chairmen of the state concerns Turkmengaz, Turkmennebit and Turkmenhimiya at the meeting with representatives of the petrochemical company Gulf Petrochemical Industries discussed the prospects for partnership.

The Deputy Deputy Prime Minister for Transport and Communications and the Minister of Industry and Communication of Turkmenistan spoke with the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism of the Kingdom of Bahrain Zayed Bin Rashid Al-Zayani and discussed the possibility of promoting Turkmen products to foreign markets and improving the competitiveness of the country's industrial complex.

Among the promising areas of interaction was named tourism, the development of which was discussed by the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Chairman of the State Committee on Tourism. The guests were presented the possibilities of the Avaza National Tourist Zone.

At the meeting of the heads of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Kingdom of Bahrain and Turkmenistan, the main emphasis was placed on the prospects of exporting domestic goods to the markets of Bahrain.

Negotiations on the possibilities of expanding the activities of Bahraini financial structures in Turkmenistan were held between a representative of the Salam Bank of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs.

The meeting between the heads of the telecommunications company Kalaam of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Turkmenaragatnasyk Agency of the Ministry of Industry and Communications discussed the possibility of implementing major infrastructure projects in Turkmenistan.
