The news outlet InfoAbad reported on 14 October, 2020 that with the view of preventing the spread of infectious agents causing acute lung infections, the ban on the service sector operations will be extended until 15 November, 2020.
Pursuant to this decision, cinemas, theaters, theme parks, museums, beauty parlours, saunas and sports facilities (swimming pools, fitness centres and gyms) will be closed. The restrictions will also apply to all types of fee-based training courses and play rooms, regardless of the form of ownership.
Let us recall that the above-mentioned outlets were shut down from 21 July to 1 August, 2020 for disinfection and the closure was extended on a monthly basis.
“Chronicles of Turkmenistan” has previously reported that some restaurants are operating in a regular mode despite the ban.
A similar situation is being observed with the markets. All shops are open in the Russian bazaar in Ashgabat and those located in underground walkways, including groceries stores which are officially allowed to operate and consumer goods stores, which have been banned pursuant to the restrictions.
