Rostec will supply gas turbine engines to Turkmenistan

United Engine Corporation (UEC, part of Rostec) won the tender for the supply of industrial gas turbine engines (GTE) to Turkmenistan for industrial use, reported .

Together with GTD NK-12ST, the NK-14ST engine will be delivered to the republic for the first time.

It is known that in comparison with NK-12ST, NK-14ST has more power and higher efficiency, has a modified flow part and the design of turbines.

Gas turbine engines of the Kuznetsov company in Samara (part of the UEC) will be operated at the Turkmengas compressor stations.

It is noted that the company is actively developing cooperation with Turkmen partners not only in terms of the supply of finished equipment, but also in the provision of capital repairs and spare parts.

The publication reports that the cooperation of the UEC and Turkmengaz began in 2011 with the conclusion of a contract for the supply of gas turbine engines NK-12ST, which was completed in 2013.

In addition, in 2012�2013, contracts were signed for the supply of autonomous power plants GTPP-2.5 with an electrical capacity of 2.5 MW.
