The Russian army has upgraded its Shahed strike drones. The drones now fly faster and at higher altitudes, the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) released information, APA reports. The ISW cites the words of a serviceman serving in a mobile air defense unit of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He said the Russian Shahed drones were previously very slow, difficult to maneuver, and could only fly at low altitudes. However, the Russian troops have upgraded the drones' components over time to enable them to fly faster and higher. In contrast, the serviceman noted that Ukrainian mobile fire groups have also improved their equipment and tactics and can effectively neutralize enemy strike UAVs. Source: Azeri-Press News Agency
