Russia sent the first batch of Christmas trees to Turkmenistan, the press service of the Rosselkhoznadzor reported November 18.
The first batch included 3,600 trees sent from the Perm Territory.
The products have passed laboratory control, its owner has been issued three phytosanitary certificates.
In total, since the beginning of November, more than 20,000 pieces of Christmas trees (spruce and pine) have been presented for inspection.
The remaining New Year’s coniferous trees will soon be sent from the Perm Territory to Turkmenistan and regions of Russia, the information report says.
