Russian Deputy FM describes his country as honest mediator between Azerbaijan, Armenia

"The conflicted situation between Azerbaijan and Armenia has not ended yet," Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said, APA reports.

According to him, the conflicted situation should not be considered final without completely implementing the complex trilateral agreements signed between Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia.

"I believe that the conflicted situation still has not ended. Here, the complex of tripartite agreements between the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia remains relevant. We are talking about reaching agreements on important components such as opening of transport communications and economic relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, delimitation and demarcation of the border, signing a peace treaty and establishing relations between public figures, expert communities, parliamentarians of Azerbaijan and Armenia. Taken together, all this should lead to mutually acceptable normalization conditions to be determined in a future agreement. Russia, as an honest mediator with partnership and alliance relations with both countries, will make an effort to help reach sustainable, balanced agreements between our two neighbors," the Russian Minister stressed.
