S. Berdimuhamedov accepted Putin’s offer to visit Russia and told Biden about his desire to take relations to a new level

On April 8, Presidents of Russia Vladimir Putin and Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov had a telephone conversation on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries.

According to the press service of the President of Russia, Putin invited Berdimuhamedov to pay a visit to Russia. The head of Turkmenistan agreed.

The State Information Agency of Turkmenistan TDH, however, did not announce the invitation .

“The head of state confirmed the interest of Turkmenistan in strengthening and building up partnership with the Russian Federation,” the newspaper writes.

On April 10, Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated US President Joseph Biden on the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations , TDH reports .

The head of Turkmenistan noted the fruitful cooperation in such areas as civil aviation, agriculture, electricity, banking and expressed his desire to bring bilateral relations to a new level .
