S. Berdimuhamedov ordered “not to delay” with the issue of transferring land to cultivated areas

On July 4, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Annageldi Yazmyradov , who is in charge of the agro-industrial complex , the state information agency TDH reports .

In addition to harvesting wheat, caring for cotton crops and growing potatoes, Hyakim of Akhal velayat Yazmuhammet Gurbanov reported on the organization of the transfer of sown areas from remote areas to cultivated areas of the velayat. The head of state "urged not to delay the solution of this issue."

The heads of other regions did not touch upon the topic of land transfer in their reports, but the Deputy Prime Minister reported on the work carried out in this direction. He also reported on the implementation of the instruction to improve the reclamation state of farmland, rational use of water resources and ensure water supply in the country.

The head of state ordered to prepare proposals for improving the culture of agriculture, preparing a land cadastre, selecting high-yielding varieties of seeds and rational use of water as soon as possible.

The President noted that the issue of rational use of water should be approached taking into account the achievements of modern science and the agricultural traditions of the people . In this regard, appropriate instructions were given. Which ones, TDH does not say.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov also instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to take a responsible approach to the issues of transferring land, improving the culture of agriculture, soil productivity, crop rotation and , together with the hyakims, to prepare specific proposals .

Recall that the instruction to transfer land to cultivated areas in order to save water was given a week ago - at a workshop on June 27.
