President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to check the work of the heads of agricultural associations of the velayats of Turkmenistan at a working meeting with the heads of regions on October 31, the state information agency TDH reports .
Reports with the results of the analysis of the work of the associations were instructed to prepare the hyakims of the velayats.
Earlier, on October 22, the chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Milli Gengesh, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov , sharply criticized the heads of regions for the deplorable situation in agriculture, threatening to dismiss those who did not correct it.
The head of state once again noted the low rates of cotton harvesting in some etraps of the regions and ordered to increase them. A week ago, Berdimuhamedov Jr. named 13 people lagging behind the implementation of the district plan and fired the deputy khyakim of the Mary velayat.
Deputy Prime Minister Annageldi Yazmyradov , who is in charge of agriculture, and all hyakimms were instructed to prepare for the mass planting of seedlings, which is scheduled for November 5.
