At an extended cabinet meeting on July 29, President Serdar Berdymukhammedov reprimanded two deputy prime ministers and appointed a trade minister.
Deputy Prime Minister Charymyrat Purchekov, who oversees the construction, industrial and energy complex, was reprimanded "for shortcomings in his work." For which ones, the state information agency TDH does not write.
The reprimand was preceded by a report by the official on work in the area under his jurisdiction. He told the head of state about the preparations for the celebration of the Day of Construction and Industrial Complex Workers (August 6), in honor of which the exhibition "Construction, industry, energy of Turkmenistan-2022" and the conference "Development of the construction, industrial, energy sectors of Turkmenistan" will be held.
Then Purchekov presented the project of the ceremonial laying of the bridge across the Garabogaz Bay (to be held on August 8), which will be built by the Ukrainian company Altcom, as well as the draft Resolution on the construction of a glass production workshop in the Geoktepe etrap of the Akhal velayat . According to the document , the Ministry of Industry and Construction is allowed to conclude a contract with Rysgally zähmet for the construction of a workshop for the production of 100 tons of glass products per day. Construction work should begin in July this year and be completed in July 2025.
In February 2018, a glass factory was opened in Turkmenistan, built in the industrial zone of Ovadandepe, Geoktepe etrap , Akhal velayat . A week later, the newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan" published an announcement from the Ministry of Industry, which announced a competition "for the conclusion of a dealer agreement for the sale of glass products in foreign markets."
Prior to that, Charymyrat Purchekov was reprimanded last December by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov .
The vice-premier for culture and media Myahrigemal Mammedova also received a reprimand "for the shortcomings in the work of subordinate structures" , who reported on the preparations for the celebration of Independence Day and the Day of the Caspian Sea. The head of state ordered her to ensure a high organizational level of the upcoming events.
On August 5, Mammedova will take part in the opening ceremony of the Arkadagyn nesilleri recreation center for children in the Esenguly etrap of the Balkan velayat.
Mammedova was last reprimanded in May for the poor quality of television programs, which "should reflect positive changes and the work of citizens aimed at developing the economy."
Apparently, the reasons for the president's dissatisfaction remained the same - in addition to reprimanding Mammedova, he also removed Shirgeldi Ishangulyev , head of the Turkmenistan TV channel, "for serious shortcomings in his work." His place was taken by Yagmyr Nuryev , whom the head of state dismissed from his previous position as editor-in-chief of the Diyar magazine.
In addition, during the report of the Deputy Prime Minister for the media, Berdimuhamedov dismissed the deputy hyakim of the Lebap velayat , Jennet Geldymamedova , in connection with the transfer to another job . Oguljennet Berdilieva has been appointed in her place .
On the same day, the head of state appointed Begench Gochmollayev as Minister of Trade by his decree . Prior to that, he was a deputy minister and at the same time an interim acting head of the ministry.
The previous head of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations , Orazmyrat Gurbannazarov , was removed from his post on April 19 by presidential decree "for health reasons."
