President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov today, September 18, arrived in the UN headquarters in New York (USA) to participate in the opening ceremony of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Summit of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly. The main goal of this forum is to return the world to a greener, cleaner, safer and fairer future for all. The SDG Summit will be opened by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, UN General Assembly President Dennis Francis and Economic and Social Council President Paula Narvaez. A political declaration, will be adopted at the SDG Summit, recommitting to the central, transformative promise of the 2030 Agenda - leaving no one behind. Today the head of state will speak as part of the Leaders' Dialogue at the SDG Summit. Sadyr Zhaparov's participation at the opening of the General Debates of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly and his speech will take place tomorrow, September 19.
