President Sadyr Zhaparov today, as part of his official visit to the Russian Federation, took part in the parade in honor of the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War on Moscow's Red Square as a guest of honor. More than 8,000 military personnel in 30 parade units and more than 125 units of military equipment took part in the solemn march. At the end of the Victory Parade, Sadyr Zhaparov and Russian President Vladimir Putin, together with the leaders of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, as well as heads of delegations and veterans of the Great Patriotic War, laid flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Alexander Garden and honored the memory of those killed in the Great Patriotic war.
