Three-day seminar Advanced Technologies and Methods for Development of National Action Plan for Solar Energy" was held in Turkmen State Energy Institute (Mary). The main objective of the projects, which has been carried out since 2014 by the energy institute together with the OSCE Centre in Ashgabat, is an assistance to energy security.
The state priorities of the development of solar energy sphere as well as advance technologies of its production and consumption were discussed during the seminar. The participants � lecturers and graduate students took part in interested exchange of opinions. International expert Nadejda Komendantova � Amann gave topical lecture followed by video conference on key aspects of alternative energy with the participation of the students of International University of Oil and Gas and Turkmen State Institute of Transport and Communication of the capital.
Closing the seminar, Head of the OSCE Mission in Ashgabat Natalya Drozd expressed the gratitude to the government of the country for fruitful cooperation and support rendered during organization of joint events and noted that Turkmen State Energy Institute is not just an educational facility but also scientific and research centre for alternative energy and that the current joint project is one of the most efficient.
