Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to digitize regional khyakimliks

On May 16, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the heads of regions, the state information agency TDH reports .

Hyakims of all velayats reported on the construction of facilities and the implementation of plans for the cultivation and collection of various products.

After the reports, the head of state instructed:

• create organizational groups and brigades for the repair of equipment for harvesting grain in a short time and without loss;

• to prepare for carrying out mutual settlements with daikhans for the delivered crop;

• achieve full compliance with agrotechnical standards in the course of work carried out in the cotton fields;

• get high yields of potatoes, vegetables and gourds;

• successfully implement the plan for the production of silkworm cocoons in the region.

Separately, the president once again touched upon the introduction of a digital system in all divisions of khyakimliks and instructed the heads of regions to carry out these works "taking into account best practices and the latest technologies."

Last Friday, May 13, the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers was devoted to the introduction of digital management systems in Turkmenistan. After the reports of all Deputy Prime Ministers, Serdar Berdimuhamedov was dissatisfied with the government's work on digitalization, saying that work in the country is not being carried out at the proper level. Mammetkhan Chakiev, who oversees the implementation of digital systems , received a reprimand.

Then Deputy Prime Minister Esenmyrat Orazgeldiyev , who is in charge of the agricultural sector, reported on the state of affairs in the agricultural sector . According to him, "every effort is being made to complete the sowing of cotton in the fields in a short time, taking into account the water supply of the Dashoguz velayat," TDH writes. The plan for growing silkworm cocoons was fulfilled by 25.7%.

Recall that at a meeting on May 10, the president demanded that the vice-premier, who made working trips to Akhal, Balkan and Dashoguz velayats, resolve the issue of land reclamation in Dashoguz velayat. Meteozhurnal notes that the Dashoguz velayat has been suffering from low water for the third year in a row.
