Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to provide the population of the Mary velayat with jobs, food and textbooks

On June 18, after working trips to the Mary and Lebap velayats, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held an offsite meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers at the airport in the city of Turkmenabat, the state information agency TDH reports .

The instructions given at the meeting mainly concerned the Mary velayat. Thus, the head of state stressed that the industrial, chemical and agricultural sectors form the basis of the region's economy and gave the following instructions:

Deputy Prime Minister Muhammetguly Mukhammedov, who is in charge of the economic sector, to improve the social and living conditions of the population of the Mary region and create new jobs;

Deputy Prime Minister Shahym Abdrakhmanov , who is in charge of the oil and gas industry, to modernize the work of enterprises of the fuel and energy complex for the efficient use of the natural resources of the velayat;

Deputy Prime Minister Charymyrat Purchekov , who is in charge of the construction, industrial and energy complex, to increase the production of electricity, non-metallic building materials and mineral fertilizers;

Deputy Prime Minister Annageldi Yazmyradov in charge of the agro-industrial complex - to improve the provision of the region with local fruits, potatoes, poultry and animal meat, eggs, vegetable oil, and create a fodder base;

Deputy Prime Minister for Science and Education, Health and Sports Sapardurdy Toyliyev - to provide velayat educational institutions with textbooks and manuals in the required volume, control the composition of teachers in all subjects, and carry out repair work of educational institutions;

Deputy Prime Minister for Trade Batyr Atdaev - to strengthen food abundance, improve the supply of markets and other outlets with a variety of products, expand the range and increase the volume of products.

In turn, the heads of the two regions thanked the president for the visit and promised to fulfill the grain harvest plan.
