On May 24, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the Ministry of Finance and Economy to start preparing a draft state budget for 2023, as well as a socio-economic development plan and an investment program. This was reported by the state news agency TDH .
By June 1, the Ministry of Finance must send to the ministries, departments, khyakimliks of the velayats and Ashgabat settlement forms and guidelines for compiling the necessary documentation. In addition, it was instructed to create a working group of specialists and organize its work to prepare these projects.
The drafts of the main financial plans of the country must be prepared and submitted by the Ministry of Finance to the Cabinet of Ministers before November 1 of the current year.
