At the medical facilities, the head of state was greeted with songs and dances. They are reportedly equipped with equipment from Germany, France, Italy, Japan, the US, the Netherlands, Denmark and the UK. 1,331 people will work there, some of whom were trained in Russia and Turkey.
In his welcoming speech, the president noted that the hospitals "will serve the people for many years and increase the life expectancy of people."
In the multidisciplinary hospital, which includes 7 buildings and 32 departments, the head of state was met by children in white coats. He toured some of the departments, talked to doctors, and donated cars to the hospital.
Berdimuhamedov also visited departments at the oncological clinic of Serdar, looked at the equipment and donated cars to the hospital.
Then, according to TDH, the ceremony of awarding international quality certificates to hospitals took place. They were presented by Joseph Galert Stanislaus , manager for quality control of hospitals of KTQ International GmbH (Germany) , and Artem Padeisky , general director of the branch of Philips Medical Systems (Netherlands) in Russia . Olzaar Herman , Project Manager for International Clinics at Philips Medical Systems (Netherlands) , presented ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certificates.
Recall that the Minister of Health and Medical Industry Nurmukhammed Amannepesov reported on the preparations for the opening ceremonies of these hospitals not to the president, but to the head of the Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengesh Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during his visit to the Ashgabat Scientific and Clinical Center for Maternal and Child Health on May 18.
In February 2019, the President signed a decree according to which the private enterprise "Ajaýyp Gurlusyk" will build a hospital for 450 beds and an oncology clinic for 150 in Dashoguz. .
