Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the Order of Friendship from Putin, laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame and visited the Tretyakov Gallery

On June 10, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov made his first foreign visit to Russia, where he held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin .

According to Komsomolskaya Pravda, Putin received Berdymukhamedov in the green front room of the Grand Kremlin Palace. This room is also sometimes called the Divan - it is traditionally used for private negotiations.

On the published video, where the heads of state shake hands and hug each other, journalists drew attention to the chroma key effect , that is, the background in the video was replaced with a static image of the room. For what purpose this was done remains unclear.

After the talks, the presidents held a press conference, during which Vladimir Putin presented the Order of Friendship to Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

The decree on awarding Serdar Berdimuhamedov "for his great contribution to strengthening the strategic partnership between the Russian Federation and Turkmenistan" was signed by the President of Russia on May 18.

Then the President of Turkmenistan laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and visited the Tretyakov Gallery.
