Six Kazakh Citizens Safely Evacuated Through Astara Border in Azerbaijan

Astara: Six Kazakh citizens who wished to travel from Iran to Kazakhstan via Azerbaijan have successfully crossed the Astara border customs checkpoint, APA correspondent reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the evacuees were welcomed with a tea table laden with sweets as they completed the necessary passport registration process. They expressed their gratitude for the assistance provided by Azerbaijan.

The citizens were received by employees of the Kazakh Embassy in Azerbaijan, highlighting the collaborative efforts between the two nations. This evacuation is part of a broader initiative where several foreign countries have requested the Azerbaijani government's assistance in the safe evacuation of their nationals from Iran.

The Azerbaijani government, driven by humanitarian principles, has facilitated these evacuations by providing the necessary conditions at the Astara border crossing point, including the allocation of buses to aid in transportation.
