Istanbul: SOCAR's significant investments in the production sustainability of Trkiye's Petkim petrochemical complex, where it holds a majority share, have approached $2 billion. This was announced by Kanan Mirzayev, head of SOCAR Trkiye's Refinery and Petrochemical Business Unit, during a press conference in Istanbul.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Mirzayev disclosed that last year alone, investments reached $134 million. He further highlighted that from 2008 to 2024, SOCAR's investments in Petkim's plant sustainability totaled $1.923 billion.
