Sound, guitar: Selim Gurbansahedov’s concert was held in Ashgabat

The concert hall «Turkmenistan» hosted a musical evening of the young guitarist Selim Gurbansahedov, who presented cover versions of spiritual hits for all time to the public.

Accompanied by the famous composer, conductor, honored worker of arts of Turkmenistan Rovshan Nepesov, musicians of the string orchestra, famous songs were performed - «I Will Survive» by Gloria Gaynor, «White Roses» by the group «Tender May», «You're My Heart» by the group «Modern Talking» and many others.

The young guitarist spoke about his way to the big stage, performed the song «Mother» by the Azerbaijani and Russian singer Emin, dedicating this composition to his parents, as well as the author's song «Closed».

It should be noted that the number of fans of guitar and guitar music in Turkmenistan has grown significantly in recent years. And this is largely due to talented mentors who help awaken interest in a musical instrument. Myrat Gurbanov can be singled out among experienced teachers.

A teacher at the Turkmen National Conservatory named after M. Kuliyeva, he has produced more than one generation of guitar virtuosos. Every year, at the initiative of Myrat Gurbanov, concerts are held at the conservatory, where still very young guitarists from different musical schools in Ashgabat can demonstrate their abilities.

Selim Gurbansahedov once became one of the students of Myrat Gurbanov. The boy with the guitar grew up. And today, already as an artist, he invited a mentor to his solo concert to thank the teacher and pay tribute to him.

This year in our country is held under the motto «Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar». And it is truly happiness when the younger generation has the opportunity to brightly and successfully declare themselves in various fields - in the field of creativity, science, IT - technologies, etc.
