Mass sowing of winter wheat has begun in all regions of Turkmenistan. The country's grain field is 690 thousand hectares of land, from which farmers will have to collect 1 million 400 thousand tons of grain in 2022.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan, in the country as a whole, 1972 arable, 1545 row-crop tractors, seeders and other equipment from John Deere, CLAAS, Case are involved in the sowing campaign.

On the occasion of the beginning of sowing winter crops in the country's peasant farms, seminars were held with the participation of agronomists, machine operators and tenants-grain growers. The seminars discussed the issues of an organized sowing campaign, the use of modern agricultural techniques and best practices in the cultivation of cereals. According to tradition, the start of the sowing campaign was given by elders-elders.
