State Employment Agency to spend 1 million manats for IT infrastructure of VTC

On June 9, the State Employment Agency (SEA) signed an agreement with "B2B Group" LLC to create an IT infrastructure in the Vocational Training Center (VTC) under construction in the city of Guba. Purchase, installation and commissioning of equipment for the Guba VTC https://etender.gov.az/main/competition/detail/288744 GAS will cost AZN 959.700 ($564.500). The works are to be completed by October 18 of this year. The Agency is funded by the Unemployment Fund. In the summer of 2022, the SEA published results of an express survey of the labor market in Guba-Khachmaz economic regions, which was attended by employers. According to its results , the most popular professions here were internet merchant, hairdresser, makeup artist, manicurist, laser technician, electrician, computer network administrator, bartender, barista, cook, call center operator, carpenter, mechanic for the repair of agricultural machinery and equipment, ski tourism guide. It has to be noted that in October 2021, the SEA purchased similar equipment in the amount of AZN 838.100 manats for the Barda VTC. There is no public information of whether this equipment is used for its intended purpose. According to the data of the public procurement portal, in 2020-2022, the SEA purchased goods and services for ICT systems and infrastructure for a total of AZN 2.3 million from "B2B Group" LLC (TIN: 1005873041) under 7 more contracts
