Turkmen state media do not report problems with pests in the fields, but earlier the heads of agricultural associations and tenants told the Chronicle of Turkmenistan correspondents about frequent problems with locusts. In particular, the invasion of pests was noted in the countries of Central Asia in the summer of 2020.
