During the state visit of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the People's Republic of China, he held talks with President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping.
After the solemn welcoming ceremony, the leaders of the two friendly countries held a meeting in an expanded composition of delegations. During the Turkmen-Chinese high-level talks, issues of expanding bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres were discussed. After negotiations in an expanded composition of delegations, the meeting continued in a narrow format.
Following the talks between President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President of China Xi Jinping, a package of bilateral documents was signed.
The leaders of the two friendly states put their signatures under the joint statement of Turkmenistan and the People's Republic of China.

- a memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China for 2023-2024;
- Protocol on making additions to the Agreement between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the People's Republic of China on the establishment of the Turkmen-Chinese Cooperation Committee dated August 29, 2008;
- a memorandum of understanding to promote investment cooperation in the digital economy between the government of Turkmenistan and the government of the People's Republic of China;
- a memorandum of understanding to promote investment cooperation in the field of green development between the government of Turkmenistan and the government of the People's Republic of China;
- a memorandum of understanding between the government of Turkmenistan and the government of the People's Republic of China on conjugation of the international initiatives "Revival of the Great Silk Road" and "One Belt and One Road";
- a plan for cooperation in the field of culture between the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China for 2023-2026;
- an agreement on the exchange of news and cooperation between the State News Agency of Turkmenistan and the Xinhua News Agency of the People's Republic of China;
- a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the State News Agency of Turkmenistan and the newspaper "People's Daily" (People's Republic of China);
- a memorandum on information and news cooperation between the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography and the China Media Corporation;
- action plan in the field of healthcare between the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan and the State Commission of the People's Republic of China for Health for the period 2023-2027;
- a memorandum of cooperation between the National Olympic Committee of Turkmenistan and the Chinese Olympic Committee;
- a memorandum of understanding between the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Physical Culture and Sports and the Main State Administration for Physical Culture and Sports of the People's Republic of China on cooperation in the field of sports;
- a memorandum of understanding between the state concern "Turkmengaz" and the China National Oil and Gas Corporation on cooperation in the gas sector;
- Memorandum of Understanding between Yagshygeldi Kakaev International University of Oil and Gas (Turkmenistan) and China National Oil and Gas Corporation (People's Republic of China);
- a memorandum of cooperation between the Magtymguly Turkmen State University (Turkmenistan) and the Beijing University of Foreign Languages (People's Republic of China).
