Ceremony of sending off the children from all over Turkmenistan to children recreation centres of Gyokdere near Ashgabat was held on the square in front of the Children and Youth Palace.
Representative of educational sphere, public organizations, parents and numerous citizens of he city took part in the events. The speakers, addressing good wishes, highlighted that care of the children is one of the priorities of socially oriented Government policy.
Celebration performance with music, dances and songs was expanded at brightly decorated territory of the Children and Youth Palace due to the beginning of summer season. Man-size puppets of cheerful and sporty Vepaly alabay - the image of the coming V Ashgabat Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, took active part in the event.
After, the kids got into decorated buses and went to Gyokdere � picturesque place of Turkmen nature where the kids were heartily welcomed and expected by celebration events with participation of artists, cultural workers, children folk bands and choreographic groups.
More than seven thousands school students will visit 14 health resorts of Gyokdere in this season and more 1 780 children will go to Avaza seacoast. Besides, hundreds of health improving camps will operate throughout the country.
All conditions for interesting, various and useful holidays are made in holiday centres. Large work for organization of active and learning time spending of the kids, section works according to the interests, study of computer programmes and foreign languages was carried out and mentors, teachers and tutors staff was manned. Rich programme of the events for children was prepared by joint efforts of leading methodologist and specialists of the Ministries of education, culture, public health and medical industry as well as the State Committee for Sports.
During summer holidays, young guests of children recreation centres are awaited with intellectual and sports games, competitions and festivals. Interesting events, contests and methodological events will supplement the knowledge of history and local geography and culture, art and ecology, it will also help the kids to understand traffic and fire safety rules.
No doubt that the games and competitions in the swimming pools and sports grounds are the main thing during holidays. The sport programme of this year, when Ashgabat will host V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, will be full of content.
Every spent day will be remembered by the kids for new meetings, theatrical performances, literature readings and concerts. The children will demonstrate all their new achievements and successes to the parents, relatives and friends during improvised performances on Open doors days. Besides, site exhibitions of children libraries and artists performances will be organized.
The programme of children holidays in Gyokdere includes trips around the capital, visit of architectural places of interests, historical monuments, cultural and museum centres, recreation and amusement parks.
Meetings of the first holiday-makers were held in children recreation centres of Avaza national tourist zone on the Caspian coast as well as in children resorts in all regions of the country.
