During a meeting in Kabul, Ambassador of Turkmenistan Khoja Ovezov and Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan Amir Khan Muttaki discussed issues of development of the Turkmen-Afghan partnership.
The head of the Afghan Foreign Ministry sent congratulations to the leadership and people of Turkmenistan in honor of the 30th anniversary of the country's independence. He also expressed gratitude to the Turkmen side for the constant humanitarian support of the Afghan people in a difficult time for them.
During the conversation, the parties stressed the need for further development of multifaceted cooperation between the two countries. In this regard, in order to increase trade, the expediency of organizing meetings of representatives of the business circles of the two countries and the search for new formats of economic interaction was noted.
