The Asia’s indoor soccer championship, scheduled to be held in Turkmenistan, is postponed because of the outbreak of coronavirus

Associated Press reported that the Asian Football Confederation said the Asia's indoor soccer championship, scheduled to be held in Ashgabat from 26 February to 8 March, 2020, was postponed on Monday because of the outbreak of a fast-spreading new coronovirus which originated in Asia.

New tournament dates have not been announced yet and, according to soccer officials, the competitions will be held when the situation stabilizes.

Let us recall that President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov signed the resolution to hold the Asia's indoor soccer championship in October 2019. In November 2019 the head of state approved the symbols of forthcoming competitions.
