Deputy Prime Minister for Science and Education, Health and Sports Sapardurdy Toylyev reported on the preparation of schools for the Last Bell ceremonies at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on May 19 . This was reported by the state information agency TDH.
According to the official, festive ceremonies under the motto “The era of the people with Arkadag” will be held in all secondary schools, which will begin with the laying of flowers at the Monument of Independence and the monument to Berdimuhamed Annaev (great-grandfather of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov , - approx. HT), which is installed in secondary school No. 27 Yzgant village, Geoktepe etrap, Akhal velayat. Whether this means that all schoolchildren will have to go to Yzgant to lay flowers is not clear.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the action plan, saying that young Turkmen citizens should have the most pleasant memories of the "Last Call".
“The celebrations, held in an atmosphere of special spiritual uplift, will inspire young people for future great achievements, strengthen their love for their native Motherland,” the head of state concluded.
Every year, the authorities of Turkmenistan hold various public events in which school graduates are obliged to take part in a voluntary-compulsory manner: laying flowers at monuments, processions around the city, concerts, and so on. At the same time, young people are forbidden to gather in groups without the supervision of the authorities, and after official events they are immediately ordered to go home. Owners of cafes and restaurants are also prohibited from holding holidays for graduates. As a rule, schoolchildren and teachers arrange meetings at home.
