On April 15, the ex-president of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov , the current head of state Serdar Berdimuhamedov and his son Kerimguly Berdimuhamedov , on the eve of the day of commemoration of Myalikguly Berdimuhamed oglu , gave a memorial sadaka-agzachar in his honor in the village of Yzgant, Geoktepe etrap, Akhal velayat. It was the ex-president's first public appearance since his indefinite leave on April 1.

In the news, the TDH calls Berdimuhamedov Sr. “Hero-Arkadag” or “Khadzhi Arkadag” ( Khadzhi is translated from Arabic as “pilgrim” - this is an honorary title given to a Muslim who successfully completed the rite of the Hajj to Mecca - approx. HT ).

At the event, Berdimuhamedov Sr. invited the audience to sadaqa-agzachar, which will be given on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the Hezreti Omar mosque in Aghabad on April 18, the day of the anniversary of the death of Myalikguly Agha.

Myalikguly Berdimuhamedov died on April 18 last year.
