On November 16, on the day of the founding of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan, the traditional ceremony of awarding the Youth Prize to the best representatives of the young generation of the country for achievements in the field of literature, art, culture, industry and agriculture, science, technology, and healthcare was held in the conference hall of the Center for Public Organizations of Ashgabat , education and sports. According to the regulations on the Youth Prize of Turkmenistan, it is awarded once a year to persons aged 16 to 30 years. Applicants for its competition can be nominated by ministries and departments, state institutions and enterprises, public and creative organizations, institutions of science, education, health care, higher and secondary vocational schools, and the media.
This year, the list of laureates of the Youth Prize, approved by the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization, includes 75 young people from all regions of the country. Most of the laureates are students of higher educational institutions of the country: Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly, Turkmen State Agricultural University named after S. A. Nyyazov, the Turkmen State Medical University named after M. Garryyev, the Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan named after Oguzhan, the International University for the Humanities and Development, the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering, the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva, etc.
Young professionals who have shown themselves most actively and effectively in various sectors of the economy and social sphere of Turkmenistan make up the second large group of laureates of the Youth Prize. The list of laureates also includes high school students: M. Abbasova is a student of the 10th grade of the 32nd secondary school in Ashgabat, S. Ruslanova is a student of the 11th grade of the 19th specialized school in Lebap velayat and M. Yagshyyev is a student of the 11th grade of a specialized music school at the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva. The Youth Prize of Turkmenistan was awarded to a private entrepreneur Aygul Nazarlyyeva from the Turkmengala etrap of the Mary velayat and a resident of the Garagum etrap of the Mary velayat Selbi Serdarova.
The winners of the Youth Prize of Turkmenistan are traditionally awarded with relevant certificates and valuable gifts from the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan.
