The director of the Russian-Turkmen school named after I. Pushkin

On September 1, Elena Sistsova , director of the Russian-Turkmen secondary school named after A.S. Pushkin, according to the website of the Russian Embassy in Ashgabat.

Elena Konstantinovna is a philologist by education, a teacher of the highest category, the author of the textbook "Russian language" for the 5th grade of the national schools of Turkmenistan. She has been in charge of the school since September 2016.

Russian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Alexander Blokhin sent his condolences to the staff of the school, as well as to the family and friends of the teacher, the news release says.

Elena Systsova was 51 years old. The Embassy does not indicate the cause of death. According to sources from Turkmen.news, the director died from COVID-19.
