The dollar exchange rate on the black market of Ashgabat as of December 4 is 17.7 manats when buying and 18.2 manats when selling.
Since March 2022, the exchange rate on the black market has remained stable at the level of 19-20 manats per dollar.
On November 26, the exchange rate fell to 18.5 manats when buying and 18.7 manats when selling after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, dissatisfied with budget revenues, demanded that the manat be freely converted.
