The girl who ran onto the stage at the concert of singer Jony in Ashgabat may have been expelled from the university and arrested for 15 days

On New Year's Eve, concerts of foreign pop stars were held in Ashgabat, among which was the famous Russian singer Jony (real name Jahid Afrail oglu Huseynli ). His concert, which, according to the Turkmenportal, gathered 10,000 people, took place on December 27.

During the performance of the singer, a fan ran out onto the stage and rushed to hug him. Only a minute later, the girl was taken backstage by three men in black suits. The video of the incident was widely shared on social media.

Now in Ashgabat, information is spreading that the girl was a second-year student at the State Financial Institute (formerly the People's Economic Institute), but she was expelled from the university for inappropriate behavior, and now she is serving 15 days of arrest.

In addition to Jony, Dima Bilan, Nyusha, Irem Derizhi and Mustafa Sandal gave concerts in the capital of Turkmenistan.

The official ticket price was 100 manats ($29 at the state rate, or about $5 at the black market rate). Huge queues accumulated at the box office, and tickets were sold several times more expensive from the hands.

The police tried to stop the scandals and fights that arose in the queues, and caught those who filmed it all on mobile phones.

Meanwhile, in an interview after the concert, Jony stated that it would be "just super-wonderful" if in the future his music "becomes similar to the music of the respected Arkadag."

“And if we still write a joint song, then I will be insanely happy in general,” the singer said.
