President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has visited the Ministry of Textile Industry where he inspected the work under preparation to V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games.
One month ago, on May 30, the Head of the State during his inspection of the Olympic village was presented with the samples of sportswear for Turkmen National team, personnel and volunteers of the Games. Few models were chosen from suggested items. Their final design taking into consideration the notes of the Head of the State were demonstrated today.
Upon his arrival to the Ministry of Textile Industry, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was met by the Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, leaders f military and law enforcement agencies, Executive Committee for Preparation of V Asian Games, State Committee for Sports and the Hyakim of Ashgabat.
At the main entrance, the delegation was welcomed by the full-height puppet joyful Vepaly alabay with the flags of Turkmenistan and Asian Olympic Council. This is the symbol of the Games that plays special role in emotional visualization of the slogan of the Games in Ashgabat � Health, Inspiration. Friendship. Vepaly also personifies the will and desire for sports victories.
Large group of sportsmen met the Head of the State in the hall of the ministry. They presented new samples of the wear for our athletes - parade uniform for ceremonial opening and closing of the Games.
The suits were made in the Fashion House of the capital, which designers used bright elements of rich national spiritual and material culture in harmonic combination with fashion trends in modelling of the wear.
All clothes are made from local textile and decorated with national patterns. There are State Emblem of Turkmenistan on the left side of the chest and the logo of the State Committee for Sports with easy-to-recognize contour of the horse on the right.
Exposition of textile goods with symbols of 2017 Asian Games supplemented the demonstration of the clothes. These are terry towels in gift boxes, sports T-shirts and suits as well as ties and other accessories. Different souvenirs and different nice giveaways as magnet stickers, pillows, thermoses, mugs with plots of 2017 Ashgabat and Turkmen traditions.
Turkmen leader noted that all production made by textile industry enterprises for V Asian Games has to meets international standards and harmonically combine national traditions and modern achievements and gave some specific instructions.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, having studied presented samples in details, stressed the attention of the designers on wise use of the emblems of Asian Games 2017, its image, symbol and mascot in design of clothes for ceremonies and on creative approach to folk motifs.
The president made special mention that uniform for the ceremonies and outfit of personnel are very important as they make the first impression to the guest of our country. The parade collection referring to the history of our nation has to express the tribute to cultural heritage of our people, - the Head of the State has said.
By doing so, having combined creative solution and original presentation with semantic richness, symbolism and national flavours, we would be able to create informative images, which would tell many things to our guests about the character of Turkmen nation, its spiritual world, traditions and customs, - the Head of the State has said. Modern interpretation of national dress has to demonstrate that the succession of life is only in movement, development and renovation. The Leader of the Nation made special mention that high quality ecological friendly and comfort materials are the essential requirement in production of sports outwear.
There were monitors in the hall of the ministry visually demonstrating the reports on interiors of the buildings and facilities of the Olympic village and appearance of Ashgabat during V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games.
After, D. Gulgeldiyev, the Chairman of the Executive Committee for Preparation of V Asian Games reported on the measures for high organizational level of large competitions. Using the video, he informed on the works for exterior and interior decoration of the facilities of the Olympic village, which were demonstrated under the daylight and night illumination. It was reported that all conditions were made at the facilities for international level competitions in different sports including those of the programme of V Asian Games. Every facility of the Olympic village bears the image of Vepaly alabay according to its designation.
The Head of the State gave instruction on decoration of certain facilities of unique complex in more modern style, having noted that each facility has to be different by colour gamut, which in its turn has to rise positive emotions and appropriate mood of the sportsmen.
After, Hyakim of Ashgabat, Sh. Durdiliyev reported on the work undertaken for celebration decoration of the capital on the threshold of 2017 Asian Games. The President was presented with examples of different decorations for streets and squares of Ashgabat. It included more than dozen of large LED-displays and most of them were already installed in different places of the capital.
The work on illumination decoration of the city, dynamic projection of the images on buildings facades, installation of three-dimensional symbols of 2017 Asian Games are carried out. These decorative elements, which can be visible from the distance, will be bright features of modern appearance of Ashgabat.
Besides, the Hyakim presented the proposal on decoration of the avenues and streets of the main city of the country with colourful flags and demonstrated the sketches of floristic attire of the capital and its festive decoration.
Having studied in details the plans of decoration of Ashgabat, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov requested Sh. Durdiliyev to intensify the work in this direction and noted that there is not much time left until the beginning of the Games. The Head of the State recommended to install the logos and symbols of Asian Games in most visited places of the city but at the same time, they have to bled harmonically to surrounding architecture and landscape.
Speaking to the leaders of the Executive Committee of 2017 Asian Games and the State Committee for Sports, the Head of the State required to undertake all necessary measures for provision of the highest level of coming sports competitions and associated educational and cultural activities.
Most modern technologies including equipment and programmes for video installations in open air are used for bright, creative and memorable image of our capital and creating unforgettable impression of Asian Games.
One of them was demonstrated to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The light show with laser projection on the building of the State Association Turkemnhaly presented the symbols of the Asian Games, its logo, image and mascot. The image of Vepaly alabay in different sports, bright mascot, racing horses, signs 2017 Asian Games and Ashgabat 2017 replaced each other on the facade that was turned into the display for dynamic spectacular graffiti.
The President of Turkmenistan noted that every building that will bear the laser projection with the symbols of the Asian Games, its logo, image and mascot has to have original decorative features and add the decoration to the magnificence of night city, bring joy and inspiration. The President highlighted that all of these has to increase the pride of the citizens of our country for their capital Ashgabat.
The Games have to be followed and built on advanced scientific and technical level and modern organizational approaches, the Head of the State highlighted giving the instructions for provision of perfect service for the largest sports event of the year, which will be indeed a historical events and serve to improvement of the prestige of Turkmenistan, which is the first country in the region received the right to conduct Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games.
Summarizing the discussion, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov again emphasized that our most responsible objective as organizers and host of 2017 Asian Games is to provide long-term effect of the Games for the country and region in social and economic field, in diplomatic and humanitarian spheres, in sports, tourism and the aspect of peace-making policy of independent neutral Turkmenistan.
