On September 28, on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov awarded military personnel and conferred class ranks on members of the State Security Council, the state information agency TDH reports .
The Minister of National Security, Colonel Gurbamyrat Annayev was awarded the Order of Turkmenistan “Garaşsyzlyk” – “Independence”.
In September last year, also on Independence Day, this order was received by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov .
Minister of Internal Affairs, police lieutenant colonel Muhammet Khydyrov was awarded the special rank of police colonel.
Prosecutor General, Junior Counselor of Justice Serdar Myalikgulyev was awarded the qualification class of Counselor of Justice.
Also, titles and awards were presented to distinguished servicemen and employees of law enforcement agencies. The ceremony was held at the Halk hakydasy (People’s Memory) memorial complex.
