The monument in Ashgabat dismantled less than a month after installation

On 5 January the work to dismantle the monument Zemin (translated as the Earth), which had been grandly opened on 10 December, was launched.

A decorative chiseled tower was installed at the intersection of Andalib and 10 yil Abadanchylyk avenues.

According to our sources, the tunnel is expected to be constructed at this place. Needless to say, the idea behind the construction of the tunnel was not put forward yesterday. Yet, in the run-up to celebrations of the 20th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Neutrality Day, a large number of new objects needed to be opened including the aforementioned monument.

It is likely that once the construction of the tunnel is complete, the monument Zemin will be assembled again.
